I can highly recommend a holiday at White Cross Bay. The restaurant and takeaway food is excellent and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The caravans are very clean and comfortable and are situated among trees where there are rabbits, squirrels and ducks running about. The lake is just a short walk from wherever you are on the site with magnificent views up to the fells. A really peaceful holiday and within easy reach of anywhere you want to visit in the Lake District. Mr M, Wigan, Lancashire 29 May 2010
This is a perfect place for staying within easy distance of the whole of Cumbria. The park and accommodation are perfect and just a short walk down to the lakeside affords you the most beautiful scenic views ,particularly at sunset. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food at the onsite restaurant and bar is superb, and the indoor swimming pool is a must for the little ones. Mrs B, SHEFFIELD 20 April 2010

It was a lovely site, nice and quiet and close to Windermere and Bowness. Our family ranged from 2 to 64 and we found lots to do for the different age range. Also there is a Spar 2 minutes from the site, attached to a petrol station, so all needs were met. Mrs E, ACCRINGTON, Lancashire 23 March 2010
